High-quality facilitation and the facilitator role are vital to success in sociocratic organizations. This course focuses on the essentials of excellence in facilitation, from advance preparation to dealing with challenging situations. A mix of interactive simulations, practice sessions, presentation of essential information, and time for participant questions and feedback are part of every training. Course sessions take place in an engaging video conference virtual classroom learning environment. Review and reflection homework assignments between class sessions take two hours or less per week.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Foundations of Sociocracy or equivalent training or experience. Contact us if you have questions about prerequisites.
We use a team of two instructors for each class to ensure high quality and low student-teacher ratio. This course will be led by TSCG members Erin Young and Francine Proulx-Kenzle.
