Facilitating Sociocracy: Americas-Australasia / 6-session course

High-quality facilitation and the facilitator role are vital to success in sociocratic organizations. This course focuses on the essentials of excellence in facilitation, from advance preparation to dealing with challenging situations.   • April 14th, 21st, and 28th, and May 5th, 12th, and 19th, 2021.
  • 4:00-6:30 pm USA Pacific time; 7:00-9:30 pm USA eastern time.

  • April 15th, 22nd, and 29th, and May 6th, 13th, and 20th, 2021.

A mix of interactive simulations, practice sessions, presentation of essential information, and time for participant questions and feedback are part of every training. Course sessions take place in an engaging video conference virtual classroom learning environment. Review and reflection homework assignments between class sessions take two hours or less per week.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Foundations of Sociocracy or equivalent training or experience. Contact us if you have questions about prerequisites.

We use a team of two instructors for each class to ensure high quality and low student-teacher ratio. This course will be led by TSCG members Erin Young and Francine Proulx-Kenzle.

Cancellation and payment policy

  • Registration is not complete or guaranteed until payment is made in full.
  • Substitutions of attendee may be made at any time prior to start of event.
  • The discount for two or more people registering together (if available) requires payment of course fees by at least two people registering together before start of course. If only one person actually makes payment, that person must pay the full individual registration fee.
  • Cancellation requests must be provided by email to registrar@sociocracyconsulting.com. You are responsible for ensuring that we receive your written request. We will reply by e-mail with an acknowledgement of your cancellation.
  • Attendees must cancel by midnight on cancellation deadline date stated above to receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellation requests received after stated cancellation date and seven (7) or more days before start of event will receive a refund of 50% of registration fees.
  • Cancellation requests received six (6) or less days before start of event, or failure to appear for event, will result in forfeiture of entire event fee.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events at any time. If we cancel or reschedule an event for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund of event registration fees. However we are not responsible for any other expenses (travel or lodging costs, vehicle rental, etc.) incurred by you as a result of such cancellation. If we cancel an event for which you are registered, you will be contacted at the email address you provided when registering.
