A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group organized for the purpose of ongoing study and practice in applications and theory of sociocracy. Contact us for details on starting or joining a Community of Practice.
We offer three different types of CoPs:
- Open CoP – a drop in or membership based group, with a minimum prerequisite of one of our introductory workshops, webinars, or equivalent experience. An open CoP is a place to explore, understand, and practice Sociocracy with learning focused on aim, consent, basic workflow, and equivalence. Fees are $20 per meeting or $15 with 6 month commitment. Open CoPs will be be facilitated by a member of the TSCG.
- Specialty CoP – organized around a specific aim generated by a group, with a prerequisite of our Foundations of Sociocracy training and a 6 month commitment. Fees are to be determined based on the needs of the group. Specialty CoPs may be facilitated by either a member of the TSCG or a member of a Certification CoP.
- Certification CoP – an integral part of our Step Two: Certified Sociocratic Practitioner training path, with prerequisite of a two day foundational training and year long commitment. Certification CoPs will be facilitated by a member of TSCG.
